Davis Family Reunion

Brooksville, Florida June 2003

Forest Davis of Indiana

Welcome to "SUNNY" Florida. The background of this page is a picture taken out of the window of the motel as people arrived from all over the Country to attend the Davis Family Reunion in June of 2003.

The Anderson family, hosts for this event, has some items for e-bay.

The new horseshoe set.
The new badminton set.
The new volleyball set.
The new croquet set.
All the Tiki torches.

Friday Morning the first official day of the reunion, Bud and Bette came in Wednesday night and celebrated Bud's 68th birthday at the restaurant we will all be at Saturday if it floats.

Thursday they helped get everything ready including a guest bath room which was completely rebuilt within the last week. It was finished just minutes before Ed and Marilyn arrived Thursday night.

This page has been put together for those who could not attend, and those who did attend and wish to look back upon it. It will not be easily accessed as only those receiving an e-mail with the URL will know where it is on the web to come look at it and it will only be sent to family.

The first pictures below are from Friday morning and show that we never needed to see the movie A River Runs Through it, as we just lived it! Pictures taken from the same spots Saturday then family pictures that all can enjoy will follow these.

Even with the bad weather, yes it rained again and Bud brought word that we had an official 7 1/2 inches of rain in the last two days, we have thirty nine members of the family here in Brooksville celebrating with us. This is the number of family members representing each brother or sister so you can see the count for this Florida reunion.
Lee: two
Merle: twelve
Cleo: fifteen
Forey: six family two guests from Indiana for eight total
Cecil: two
Dorothy and Marie did not have anyone able to attend this reunion. Hopefully many will make it to Alaska next June 23, 24 and 25, 2004 to share in the next reunion. Ohio will be the spot for the 2005 reunion, so make your reservations now. It is only tentative but there is strong talk by the two people in the first picture below that the 2006 reunion may be held near them in Texas! We will let you know if this develops.
